The Friday the 13th series just keeps on going, but when your series goes on this long weird things start happening. An undead superhuman killer slowly transforms to be more undead and more superhuman over time, while the filmmakers try to figure out new (blog post) ways to spin the formula. So we have Jason battling another supernatural person! No, no not that one.
